Compare items head-to-head to find objective weights or rankings. No spreadsheet needed.
Example: ERP System Criteria
A team needs to weight 5 criteria for selecting an ERP system. After 10 pairwise comparisons, the tool reveals that Ease of use (30%) and Cost (25%) are the most important criteria, while Support quality (5%) matters least.

Frequently Asked Questions
- A pairwise comparison evaluates items by comparing them two at a time. For each pair, you decide which is more important (or equal). The tool counts wins and calculates percentage weights or a ranking.
- Each win counts as 1 point, each tie as 0.5 points. The total points per item are divided by the sum of all points to get percentage weights. This is the standard method used in Nutzwertanalyse.
- For n items, you need n×(n-1)/2 comparisons. For 5 items: 10 comparisons. For 8 items: 28 comparisons. The tool handles this automatically.
